A large part of Nordic Academy's role and work is the development of Nordic Walking across Australia, as well as in the Asia-Pacific region.
To achieve this, each year Nordic Academy promotes the concept and activity of Nordic Walking at major national (and international) health conferences. Besides presenting and demonstrating, early morning Come & Try Sessions are often run for the conference delegates to experience the benefits of Nordic Walking for themselves.
